Global Environmental Youth Convention 2009 in Tangshan, China

Dear YMP students and teachers eligible for the GEYC in China,

It is with the deepest regret that we, at this late hour, have to communicate to you all that the 5th GEYC, that was supposed to take place in China by the end of November this year, will be postponed.

We have been trying our utmost to keep our promise to arrange a GEYC in China this year, and we will continue our efforts to make it happen in 2010.

The postponement of the GEYC will not affect the YMP programme. It will continue as planned as the need for free and globally distributed education on sustainability issues is more urgent than ever.

Global Environmental Youth Convention ahead 2011

Students and teachers who participate in the Young Masters Programme in Batch 1/2011 and complete project work (Part 3) will be eligible to take part at the Global Environmental Youth Convention (GEYC) in 2011.
